TOXIK: 'Think Again' DVD Artwork Revealed

July 27, 2009

The cover artwork for "Think Again", the forthcoming DVD from reunited progressive thrashers TOXIK, can be viewed below. According to drummer Tad Leger, "The DVD will contain a full headlining show, on a HUGE stage, from a 1989 performance at the historic Paramount theater in TOXIK's hometown, Peekskill, New York. There will be a photo/poster gallery and other extras, including footage of the 'Think This' lineup."

More information on the upcoming TOXIK DVD will be revealed soon.

On the topic of TOXIK's future recording plans, Leger told BLABBERMOUTH.NET, "Josh [Christian, guitar] has written some more material recently that is some of the best TOXIK riffs yet! The plan is to complete 5-6 new songs with Lou [Caldarola] on drums and 2-3 tracks with me on drums of TOXIK songs written back in the day that have never been released by the band."

TOXIK last fall posted a five-and-a-half-minute "teaser trailer" (see below) for "This is Toxik", the official documentary shot and produced by Marabella Productions in New York City.

Back in December 2007, Displeased Records released a DVD from TOXIK entitled "Dynamo Open Air 1988" featuring the group's performance at the Dynamo Open Air festival in Eindhoven, Holland on May 23, 1988 as well as the band's concert at the Dynamo club in Eindhoven that took place two days earlier. A DVD+CD combo was also made available in a limited run of 2,000 copies.
